From binding to gender dysphoria, various factors can alter how we move and engage with our bodies, leading to muscular imbalances and dysfunctional movement patterns. These changes can create vulnerabilities, particularly in the chest, spine, neck, shoulders, and shoulder blades. To address this, we first need to understand the anatomy in these areas. By improving movement and body awareness, we can begin to correct imbalances and alleviate or prevent pain. Once these patterns are established, it’s essential to reinforce them through targeted strength training, ensuring that the functional improvements translate into our everyday lives and athletic activities. This holistic approach to mobility, strength, and awareness creates long-term support, resilience, and comfort.

Note: The Free Trans Physio Project is created by volunteers, and will always remain a free community resource. We hope to expand, and make new guides based on community needs. Fill it out if you're comfortable—no identifying information is required. If you would prefer not to share this information please use the “PDF Download Only” option below.

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."
